I have received Jesus as my Lord and Saviour.
Accepting Jesus as Lord and Saviour is the only requirement to get into heaven. At the moment of receiving Him you acquired eternal life. We know that is true, because it is what Jesus said…
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. John 6:51
Your eternal security is based on the living bread, not on yourself. Now that you have received Him you have eternal life. And with this new life you are now able to serve God. We don't serve Him to get the life, but rather because of it.

Jesus established the church through which we function for this life of service. Having received Him and now able to serve Him, pray and ask Him to direct you to a local church where He would have you to be.
